MY RESUMÉ
See where I've been and what I've done. I've worked in both private and nonprofit sectors and used my unique talents to innovate new processes and systems. Not afraid to handle the big jobs.

I'm a New York City-based software engineer with an interdisciplinary background. Skilled in React/Redux, JavaScript (including jQuery), Ruby, Rails, HTML5. I love to code - in my spare time I'm working on a Eurovision song rating app and a database on the world's Parliaments - but you can also find me traveling, reading, or organizing board game nights.

A tutorial repo meant to explain the basics of React hooks to fellow developers at my company. Follow the numbered components to see how an app can be built up step-by-step, using hooks to achieve the same results as traditional class-based components but using functional components.
A full stack single-page web application inspired by Amazon's Goodreads. Designed with responsive user interactivity in-mind, it ensures minimum user navigation to rate, review and create collections of books. A RESTful Rails backend is integrated with React-Redux frontend; a custom auth pattern authenticates user info using BCrypt.
An arcade-style space shooter designed with HTML5 Canvas & JavaScript. Coded with OOP in mind, every game object keeps track of its internal state to make it easy to keep building out the game itself.
I am skilled in Ruby, JavaScript (including jQuery), React, Redux, Rails, RSpec, CSS3 & HTML5 (including Canvas tools), SQL (PostGreSQL / SQLite3), & Git.
These are my alma maters.
